How it Works
Brachytherapy is a minimally invasive treatment. Tiny radioactive sources, called seeds, are placed directly in and around the tumor site. With the aid of computer software, your doctor develops a treatment plan that outlines the activity and placement of the seeds to deliver a prescribed radiation dose to the defined treatment area.
